I'm happiest when in the water. Surfing, snorkelling or exploring coastlines, I'll never get enough of the ocean.
When I’m at home you’ll find me exploring the coast or the hills. I’m a big believer of finding adventure on your doorstep, and the UK has so many amazing wild places to explore. That said, however much I explore at home, it never stops the feeling of wanting to venture further afield and see the world, so I try and get away as much as I can.
My friend showed me this quote and it resonated with me, so here it is for your reading pleasure:
“I have come to accept the feeling of not knowing where I am going. And I have trained myself to love it. Because it is only when we are suspended in mid-air with no landing in sight, that we force our wings to unravel and alas begin our flight. And as we fly, we still may not know where we are going to. But the miracle is in the unfolding of the wings. You may not know where you’re going, but you know that so long as you spread your wings, the winds will carry you.”
